Artist Statement

For me, all art is expressive, passionate and beautiful. Though I am still learning how to properly draw the human body, my preferred type of art is through words. Calligraphy has helped me grasp more of a meaning about languages, the beauty of words and expressive lettering through a hand crafted technique that has been passed down for many, many years.

I feel this type of calm, yet passionate work has opened a new chapter for me. My desire is to share the works of calligraphy I create with you all. I do hope I can convey the emotional, gratifying feeling of my works of words to you as I feel them while I create them.
